Hi
Quote:
Yesterday I made a serious slip.

Today I feel much more in control,

I have let the urge come and pass.

So you have made two opposing choices
one you feel bad about albeit at the time of choosing it felt good
and one you feel good about, dont let that change

you should analyse these feelings learn from them and ingrain what you learn into your core persona
good work

Hello Bridge

Quote:
I am struggling with my sex life. Is it addiction? Or is it a natural state of sexual arousal?

Only you really can answer that question however when you say that you are struggling it tends to lean towards addiction

Quote:
you said I know it’s not that she doesn’t want me.

you should be mindful that she doesn't know you, you have chosen to keep your problem a secret from her and you said that you could and would accept the consequences of that decision

is it your sex life that you are struggling with or could it be intimacy?

Either way I am sure that you realise that this struggle is emotion driven and that all emotions are both cyclic and finite, live by your values and you will overcome
keep on working and be true to your recovery prove that you do deserve a healthy sex and non sex life
good luck
