I am not a twilight fan and don't quite know why this song seems so beautiful to me as I certainly don't feel amorous towards my very addicted husband. I feel like I am one step closer towards my own freedom and maybe it's actually my own self that I have loved for a thousand years. :-) I feel a power in me that is less and less affected by anything my husband does or doesn't do. I feel that no matter what, I will be brave even if I stand alone, I will step into the future with my highest self. I am comforted that my life will come together, is coming together. I will not let anything take away what's standing in front of me. I will walk away fondly from this life with husband and wish him well, hopeful that he will get healthy for himself knowing I will never again be his mate. We can be friends and we can be supportive of each other but there comes a time to part ways and my time has come to go. I'm sure he will be afraid but I hope he isn't. Our marriage has to end as my life, my love, my sanity, my time are all very important to me. One step closer......

I am one of these women and it brings tears every time I see this video. As a woman, I feel my own power when I see it all these other women, beautiful women, strong women. I can see in their eyes the struggle that I have gone through with my son. I just thought I would share. I embrace the fierce feminine.

Husband and I went on the 3rd grade field trip with our son and his class today. Long drive - 2 1/2 hours both ways with 55 loud 9 year olds. :ex:

It was fun despite my headache at the end of the day. When we got close to town, the bus driver turned on the radio for the kids and the song, Dynamite came on and all the kids started spontaneously singing it together. It was well, beautiful. They had their hands in the air and singing "I throw my hands up in the air saying Ayo, gotta let go, I want celebrate and live my life saying Ayo, baby let's go.... we gonna light it up like it's dynamite." They were so cute and inspiring. Most of us grown ups started singing with them and waving our hands around. Looked back and my husband was smiling and I smiled back....what a nice moment.

Not my normal musical taste but singing with the kids and waving my hands around was a wonderful experience. I hope they all remember to always celebrate their lives.
