TESTIMONIALS

Recovery Nation offers personal coaching for those seeking a more structured, personalized approach to their recovery. This is your opportunity to work directly with Jon in establishing the tools and experience you will need in transitioning from addiction to health.

Coaching is offered on a 'go at your own pace' schedule so that no coaching sessions are ever wasted. Remember that recovery coaching involves personal education, life skill development, healthy/unhealthy pattern evaluation, tool building, practical application of material, crisis management (involving addiction-related issues) and objective assessment. It does NOT include issues that require professional counseling. Issues such as depression, anger, obsessive/compulsive disorder, marital discord, life apathy, etc. If you are pursuing coaching, it should be with the understanding that you are motivated to overcome your addiction...not merely to fix your life.

Upon successful registration, an email will be sent to you regarding the specific package you have chosen. This email will include a link to scheduling your first session.

Frequently Asked Questions About Personal Coaching

    • What should I expect?

Personal coaching involves you and Jon working together to rebuild YOUR life. In essence, you will be filtering your recovery through Jon's knowledge base to root out any and all obstacles to building a life without addiction. Live coaching sessions are conducted with respect and admiration for the person who has committed to ending their addiction. Typically, sessions are very personal and constructive--though an occasional 'kick in the ass' has been felt on occasion. The bottom line is spent on maintaining focus and progress towards health. Absolute honesty on your part is essential.

    • When would I start?

That depends on the package you select. If you are choosing the complete coaching package, then you would start today, hopefully. The comprehensive screening and assessment process will require several hours of your time and needs to be completed before our first live coaching session. You will also be receiving an email from Jon welcoming you and providing you with 'the next steps' for scheduling our first session and laying the foundation for success.

    • What hours are coaching sessions available?

Monday through Friday from 11am-5pm. Monday through Thursday from 9pm-11pm. All times central standard time (GMT -5)

    • What if I am not ready for my next session?

You will be. Coaching is now based on a 'go at your own pace' process. Once you are ready for your next session, that is when you will schedule the appointment. Most appointments will be made for the following day.

    • How do we engage in the live coaching?

This is most frequently done over the phone. We use an Internet-based phone service so that all of our calls remain toll free and thus, reduces the costs for all of us. Additionally, we use Webinar to assist in live tool development, accountability and instruction. On registration, you will gain access to this service for free.

    • I want personalized coaching, but I can't afford it...

For a long time, we offered free coaching to those who were sincere in wanting to recover but who could not afford it. This is no longer practical--given the amount of people we work with. Instead, we now offer more affordable prices for those struggling financially. Additionally, we have rewritten the workshop so that more information is offered on a 'self-help' basis.
