The Comprehensive Coaching Path
If you are in a situation where you are not willing to take any chances with your recovery. Where you have made the commitment to not just end your current addiction--but to end all addiction in your life; to develop and sustain a values-based life, and to rebuild a healthy identity--then if you can afford it, this would be the path for you.
In a self-help recovery, your path is whatever you make it. If all goes perfectly, that would involve a three-month push through the workshop lessons and then whatever follow-up you are willing to construct. In a limited coaching path, the same three month push would be expected, but there would be more personalized guidance throughout the process. With comprehensive coaching, you are locking yourself in for the long haul. Rather than the typical three months to get through the workshop, two additional months are given because of the depth of the work we will be doing. Same lessons, but much deeper and more personalized application of them.
Comprehensive Coaching Features
- Comprehensive Screening and Assessment
- These tools provide a comprehensive look at not only the presenting sexual compulsive issues, but extend that evaluation into social competency, historical trauma, sexual deviancy, potential to victimize, consequence analysis, poly-addiction and much more
- Comprehensive Recovery Workshop
- You will have every lesson response thoughtfully reviewed by a coach, with comments and additional teaching offered as necessary
- Recovery Forum (for community-based feedback)
- There is no difference between coaching and self-help here
- Private Forum (for personalized development/feedback)
- To prioritize review and feedback, you will gain access to a private forum just for those in the coaching program
- Recovery Checklist
- In coaching, we will be using this checklist to track progress and define weakness
- Recovery Manager
- As a part of the accountability program, your coach will review your work in this area to ensure it is evolving (optional)
- Health Monitoring
- Health monitoring is a three-step process, with each step having three progressive steps. The recovery workshop only introduces people to the concepts of health monitoring; the limited coaching path walks people through the first two steps. Comprehensive coaching walks you through the entire process.
- Audio Coaching Series
- In coaching, you will be receiving more personalized and in-depth training. Still, the audio-coaching series is a great supplement for preparing yourself to complete workshop sections and for occasional review/refresher
- Crisis Management Coaching
- If your relationship is in crisis and you need help in stabilizing the situation so that recovery (and healing) can occur; if you find yourself struggling with an intense urge, slip and/or relapse; if you find yourself having lost focus/motivation or have become significantly complacent in your recovery--as needed crisis coaching sessions will be scheduled with you, your partner and/or both of you
- Partner's Limited Coaching (optional)
- When we work with an individual in comprehensive coaching, it cannot be done in secret. The changes that we make over the process of this transition are fundamental changes that will affect all areas of one's life. This includes a marriage/partnership. It is our preference to talk with each partner (though this is optional) early in the coaching process to explain to them what will be going on, what to look for (both healthy and unhealthy) and to answer any questions they may have about sexual addiction and/or sexual addiction recovery

Frequently Asked Questions About Personal Coaching
- What should I expect?
Personal coaching involves you and and your coach working together to rebuild YOUR life. In essence, you will be filtering your recovery through our knowledge base to root out any and all obstacles to building a life without addiction. Live coaching sessions are conducted with respect and admiration for the person who has committed to ending their addiction. Typically, sessions are very personal and constructive--though a 'kick in the ass' has been felt on occasion. The bottom line is spent on maintaining focus and progress towards health. Absolute honesty on your part is essential.
- When would I start?
That depends on the package you select. If you are choosing the comprehensive coaching package, then you would start today, hopefully. The screening and assessment process will require several hours of your time and will need to be completed before our first live coaching session. You will also receive an email welcoming you and providing you with the coaching agenda, private links and the passwords you will need.
- What if I am not ready for my next session?
You will be. Coaching is based on a 'go at your own pace' process. In your coaching agenda, you will see the objectives and prerequisites needed to be successful in that next coaching. Once you are ready, that is when you will schedule the appointment. Most appointments will be made for the following day.
- I want personalized coaching, but I can't afford it...
For a long time, we offered free coaching to those who were sincere in wanting to recover but who could not afford it. This is no longer practical--given the amount of people we work with. Instead, we now offer more affordable prices for those struggling financially. Additionally, we have rewritten the workshop so that more information is offered on a 'self-help' basis.
