Recovery Nation Live Online Support Groups
Recovery Nation Live will soon be offering online support groups for the following groups:
1) Those in professional partner's or recovery coaching
2) Those who have completed professional coaching and seek ongoing support and guidance throughout their transition to health
3) Those active in the free workshops who have completed their first twenty lessons
Note: we recognize that new workshop participants have the greatest need for initial support and guidance; unfortunately, we don't have the resources to provide this at the moment. And so, these groups are for active, invested members of the community. Those who are in professional coaching or those who have shown their sincerity to change by completing the first twenty lessons of their workshop.
If you are interested in joining a weekly support group, contact Recovery Nation and share what days/times you would be available. When enough participants are available for a new group to begin, you will be notified.

What to expect
Support groups will begin with a five to ten minute open discussion on the current topic. The remaining forty-five minutes will be open to personal discussion, sharing and support.
Unlike community training events, each support group participant will have the ability to talk live throughout the session.
How to register
1. If you are interested in attending a three-month support group, contact us with all days/times you are available. When a group opening occurs, you will be sent a registration link that you will need to click on. This will automatically register you for the sessions and an security-access code. You will need to be on your computer throughout this session to hear, talk and view shared documents, power-points, etc. Note: if you don't have speakers and a microphone attached to your computer, you also have the option of calling in to the session via phone. Regular toll charges (to your phone company, not to us) would apply.
2. A few minutes prior to the group, click on the meeting link and enter the assigned code. Because this is a private, secure meeting, you will also need to enter the special password that was sent to you directly from Jon. This will be sent the day prior to the meeting.
3. CoachJon will direct the initial discussion, but this will not be a typical academic learning environment--it will be one focused on supporting personal growth and development for each participant. Volunteers to lead future topics will be encouraged--but not pressured.
A Few Odds and Ends
*Within each session, every group member will have the opportunity to share openly, ask personal questions, etc. The group will be moderated so that no one person dominates the entire session.
* Please Register at Least One Day in Advance
You are asked to register for your group sessions at least one day in advance. This is out of courtesy to me. These are free group meetings and if one or more people register for such support, I will be more than happy to conduct the session. Otherwise, I would much prefer to spend that time with my family or playing basketball, golfing, tennis, etc. Also, I need to personally send each of you a unique password for the session--and do this the day before the session is scheduled.
