Hi everybody,
I have been at this now for six months and am on lesson 22. I work for 30 to 50 minutes every weekday morning but am frustrated by how long it is taking. I need to read every lesson 3, 4, or more times and some of the exercizes that are suposed to be long are taking me weeks to get through. I have every intention to follow though, and infact have made a goal of getting to lesson 40 by the end of the summer. My job is too intense to do well as I go through this so it has suffered this year and so have I. So when I go back to work in the fall I want to have a solid handle on this program and want to stop loosing so much time.
Can somebody please explain how the personal coaching works? things such as how is contact made and how often? is there opportunity for real-time conversation? How long does the coaching component go on for? things like that. a basic description of the progam so I can get a sence as to whether or not it is something that would benifit me.
Thanks.
:pe:

There are several coaching packages to choose from, depending on your budget.

There are two packages I think you'll want to consider:
1) Prioritized feedback. This does not involve one-on-one coaching. You will receive prioritized feedback in your forum thread.

2) Comprehensive coaching. This is a more expensive package, but this may be the one you're looking for. There is a coaching plan, which is designed to help you complete the lessons in (about) 3 months. It may take a little longer, or a little shorter, depending on your pace. There is a one-on-one coaching session that takes place at the end of an assigned series of lessons. Based on my experience, I would say that that the coaching occurs every other week or so.

If you are interested in either of these packages, you can contact Coach Cheryl. If you have any specific questions as to the lessons or coaching, contact me.

Let me include this, as an afterthought: Ultimately, the work still depends on you. You're the one who will have to put pen to paper and do the lessons, and more importantly: Work to make the lessons part of your life. What I can offer is that I'm a guy who struggled with internet porn as bad as anybody on this website. I lost two jobs, and very nearly lost my marriage. I've incorporated these lessons into my life, and have re-built my career and my marriage, and continue to grow in emotional maturity. Coach Cheryl can offer you perspective from the partner's side of things, and help coach you through various aspects of your relationship. (I just assumed...) Coaching is not counseling, and we don't help you to unwrap the past to explore the "why" of sexual addiction. We help coach you through the lessons, and help you to look forward to the future, and help you to design a life that you design.

Coach Tim
