Feeling awful just now.
I am on Facebook, and am in several closed groups, recently I was looking at a narcissis recovery one, and I found it helpful in understanding my situation, and helping me overcome what I realise is codependancy and other trauma related issues.
However yesterday, for the first time, I commented on a post about how children can be adversely affected.
I genuinely was thinking it was in the group..
I got a notification later from a relative, who had read my comment..
And now I am quite afraid the comment was seen by all my connections.
I went back and deleted the comment and unfollowed the page etc..
My comment was totally true, but it mentioned my husbands behaviour.. And cheating
I feel quite sick, and it has re opened my abandonment issues, thinking if he finds out from someone, he will just up and leave.
The relative lives in Wales, and it was the only notification I got, as she had liked the comment,
I feel awful.

Jenny - I understand. Facebook is dangerous on a lot of levels. It makes me sad. I no longer post or read Facebook. The sad part is that increases my isolation.

This too shall pass. Focus on yourself and taking care of yourself.

I've had to work on my abandonment issues as well and it is healing to get over it.

With compassion,
dnell

Yes, I have changed my settings and pared it down to a minimum, and will stay off it as much as possible.
