Lesson #2

My vision is to feel complete again. The way it used to be when I was young and didn’t have all of the responsibilities of being an adult. Life came to quickly for me and at such a young age. I don’t think I fully learned how to be a responsible adult.
I want to earn the honor and respect from my wife and family (especially my wife) that other people get. I know it is not easy considering the horrible things I have done to my wife, but I want to try and find a way to make things right, so that I can make family the most important value for me and not have the addictions and other bad behaviors that go with them.
I want to help my kids to be successful. Currently I think I am hindering them by leading such a horrible life. I have always felt that kids are an important part of my life, but the addictions seem to always take precedence.
I want to repair the damage that my wife has suffered through my bad decisions in life. I want to be there for her to help her heal and I want to know that she can believe in me to be there for her.
I want to change my lifestyle to a healthier lifestyle with less drinking and better eating habits in the hope that my family will be healthier as well.
I want to be respected in my employment. Whatever that employment may be. I have always used levity and sarcasm as a way to feel accepted at work and I am finding out that that is not how most normal and healthy people behave.
I want to learn how to establish quality relationships with friends and use those relationships to mature intellectually.
I want to have a legacy in my community. I want people who are outside of my inner circle to remember me for the things I have done in my community.
